Assessment

Quality evaluations to better understand unique individual strengths and weaknesses, with tailored recommendations and referrals to meet client needs.

 

Dr. Loomis assesses all ages, including children (ages 2+ years old), teens, and adults.

 

Evaluations may be individualized and shortened to meet patient needs.

Consultation

Consultation services to give guidance on potential needs for assessment, and help with smooth communication and teamwork between providers (schools, professionals, and employers). Consultation services may include helping clients to:

  • Better understand neuropsychological/psycho-educational evaluations, and potential areas/needs for assessment,

  • Second opinions on school-based evaluations/MET’s, and

  • Impressions on current, or formulation of new, Individualized Education Program’s (IEP) and Section 504 plans.

Consultations may also be held by video meetings or over the phone!

Advocacy

Helping parents to navigate special education and gifted programming by representing them in school meetings and planning.

  • Reviewing child history/records

  • Facilitating meetings between families and school staff (initial communication, MET and IEP meetings, etc.)
